SMS Consent Terms

These terms explain the optional transactional SMS messages sent by Schedl, operated by Z MARIN, on behalf of a business you contact through Schedl.

Last updated: August 8, 2026

How consent is collected

The public booking form requires a phone number so the selected business can contact the client about the request. SMS consent is a separate checkbox that starts unchecked. A client can submit the booking without selecting it. When it is not selected, Schedl does not enable SMS for that appointment.

Consent disclosure shown on eligible Schedl booking forms

This read-only example documents the live control; it does not collect a phone number or consent on this page. The production booking form also links directly to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service beside the checkbox.

What you are opting into

If you check the SMS consent box on a Schedl booking form, you agree to receive transactional text messages at the number you provide. Messages may include booking-request acknowledgements, appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, reschedule updates, and other service-related appointment information. This consent does not authorize marketing messages.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and related updates. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Consent to SMS is not a condition of booking or purchasing a service.

STOP and HELP

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. After an opt-out request, a final message may confirm that the opt-out was processed. You can also contact the business responsible for your appointment or email hello@schedl.app.

Privacy and terms

Schedl records the consent choice and delivery information needed to operate transactional messaging. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information.
